Pedagogy & Instruction Methods

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in the following courses: EDUC 2110, EDUC 2120, and EDUC 2130. In this intermediate pedagogy and educational instruction course, students learn to implement lessons and unit plans. Microteaching experiences designed to cultivate student engagement and learning as well as critical and creative thinking are modeled by the instructor and contextualized within educational theory and research to provide preservice teachers with a meaningful understanding of, and a developing proficiency with, research-supported instructional practices.
