Description

This course provides students with an overview of research methods emphasizing critical thinking and application in community context. This course explores the foundations of research methods and elaborate on topics such as: funding research, qualitative research methods, case study, mixed methods research, evaluation research, cultural competency, qualitative data analysis, and dissemination strategies. These concepts and methods are taught through the lens of community and participatory action research models. It is recommended that students complete MATH 2000 or MATH 1401.
